In the semifinal Korabi beat West Babylon Lightning #2 by the score of 3-0.
In the final Korabi faced arguably the best team in the tournament, Vendaval, whom they had lost to earlier in a very close game. The game was a very close game with both teams having numerous scoring opportunities but coming up short. The Korabi goalkeeper had a fabulous game making numerous magnificent saves in helping preserve the scoreless tie. After regulation time the game went into penalty shots. Still tied after 5 rounds of penalties it was up to both teams’ goalkeepers to shoot. The Vendaval goalkeeper missed her penalty shot hitting the right post and now it was the Korabi keeper’s opportunity to win the game and she calmly shot and scored making the Lynx debut a very memorable one.
