Staten Island, NY, April 26, 2009 – Goal scoring has been the biggest problem since the beginning of the season and again today missing many scoring opportunities resulted in a draw.

Korabi is among the bottom of the league with “goals for” but on top with “goals against” showing a lack of offensive goals but a strong defense.

Korabi came out flat the first five minutes in a 94 degree Summer day, in Spring, but then dominated the half with a goal by Azmir Dzemoski from a corner kick. Berat Isalmi was impressive in the midfield but could not get the ball in the back of the net.

In the second half Korabi was down to 10 players, but still controlled the game. A late questionable penalty for Korona Bay Ridge tied the game 1-1 and Korabi had to settle for its 7th tie of the season. With four games remaining, hopefully some of the players can breakout of their goal scoring slump because they are indeed skillful and hard working players.
