Sea Girt, NJ – October 18, 2009 – The Veterans played well enough to win but lady luck took was not on their side.
The host scored 3 unanswered goals in the firs 25 minutes stunning Korabi who were playing pretty well but kept getting caught off-guard. In the 40th minute Lazi Popinara scored to come within two before the halftime break.
Korabi started the second half on the attack and pulled back to within a goal in the 55th minute when Neat Krkuti scored on a cross from the left side. The game continued to be tense but Korabi could not convert on the many scoring opportunities.
