Old Bridge, NJ – September 11, 2011 – A very familiar scene as, once again, Korabi played well but defensive mistakes and poor finishing resulted in a loss.

Cranbury, NJ – August 14, 2011 – The second day of the 2011 Hall of Fame O-50 Tournament was halted due to torrential rain along with thunder and lightning. Today’s schedule will be played next Sunday, August 21, 2011.

Yesterday. Korabi played well in both games but were unable to score and settled for 0-0 tie with both Bucka Americans and Still Sporting.

 Metro -1 Division East 

KORABI – FC Partizani NY 3-2 (3-0)
Goals: Berat Islami, Azmir Dzemoski, Ilir Papraniku

Staten Island, NY – May 15, 2011 – What seemed to be a blowout in the first half turned out to be a very close game with Korabi barely holding on for the win.

Berat scored to give Korabi an early 1-0 lead. Half way through the first half Azmir scored to increase the lead to 2-0. Substitute, 15 year old, Ilir Papraniku scored on a solo effort to give Korabi a 3-0 lead going into halftime.

Considering the way Korabi played in the first half and a 3 goal lead, coach Rusty played reserves for the rest of the game. This almost backfired as Partizani scored two unanswered goals to get back into the game. Korabi kept composure and was able to hang on for the win.

Korabi finished at the top of the Metro 1 Division East and earned an optional promotion to the Second Division.

Marlboro – KORABI Veterans 7-2

Marlboro, NJ – May 15, 2011 – The Veterans can only blame themselves for this loss as only 7 players showed up for the game and lost 7-2 as a result.

Manalapan – KORABI Veterans 4-2 (1-2)
Goals: Rifat Jajaga, Kujtim Kaziu

Manalapan, NJ – May 8, 2011 – Korabi got first half goals from Rifat Jajaga and Kujtim Kaziu and took a 2-1 lead into halftime. In the second half it seemed that Korabi could not buy a goal and Manalapan scored twice on counter attacks for the win.

KORABI – Homentmen of NY 2-0
Goals: Agim Ceka, Berat Islami

Staten Island, NY – May 1, 2011 – A very important game for Korabi, struggling to remain leader of the division in an effort to gain promotion.

Although Korabi was expecting a tough game they made it look very easy for themselves as they controlled play from the start and were very creative offensively.

Korabi got second half goals from Agim Ceka and Berat Islami to put the game away and preserve the win and first place.

Cranbury – KORABI Veterans 2-1 (0-0)
Goal: Kujtim Kaziu

Cranbury, NJ – May 1, 2011 – The Veterans traveled to Cranbury to face an old nemesis who finds ways to beat them.

Korabi dominated the entire game but was only able to score once when Kujtim Kaziu took a lead pass from Bashkim Abdullai and put a low shot past the Cranbury keeper.

The host seem to get their second wind late in the game as they were able to score twice in the final 10 minutes of the game for the win.

NY Eagles FC – KORABI 1-1

Randalls Island, NY – April 16, 2011 – Korabi seems to be struggling to stay on top of the leader board and today’s game was no exception as they had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

KORABI – Nieuw Amsterdam Metro 2-1 (0-1)
Goals: Adam Hussein, Inka

Staten Island, NY – April 10, 2011 – After two straight losses Korabi bounces back with a come from behind win.

Korabi played well in the first half but fell behind after back up keeper Ozzie misplayed a shot from 40 yards out to give Amsterdam a 1-0 lead,

Shortly after the start of the second half Adam Hussein scored to even the score at 1-1. Korabi seemed determined and kept attacking and it took until the final minutes of the game, but Korabi was finally able to score when Inka took a long lead pass on the right side and took it in himself to score and give Korabi the win.
